Our Waterlily Suggestions

What are good Waterlilies for me?

• Small Lilies for tubs or small gardens
• Shade Tolerant (all lilies survive in shade but which ones bloom with 4 hrs or so)
• Viviparous Waterlilies: These make new lilies on old pads cloning the parents
• Heavy Blooming Waterlilies (which ones put on that amazing show?)

(A "sunset/changeable" is a lily that is in the yellow/peach/white range....first day bloom is one color and it gradually changes over the 3 days of bloom.)
WATER LILIES THAT REPRODUCE VIVIPAROUSLY

Waterlilies that produce tiny "clone" plants where the stem meets the leaf.
These tiny plantlets do not display much growth until the parent leaf begins to yellow and die.
Remove the plantlet once you see root growth and pot in small containers and place in shallow water, protecting them from direct sunlight.
